About Asha

Hi! My name is Asha. I am a 30-year-old graduate student at the University of Minnesota. I love working with children! I have over 15 years of experience working with kids of all abilities and backgrounds. I am ESL trained and have experience working with kids aged 2-17. For the past 4 years I worked as a 1st grade teacher in Minnesota. I just relocated to silver spring and am hoping to get back into part time work as I finish my degree. I love making learning fun for children. Ever since I was 13 when I started babysitting, I have developed a passion for working with children. I enjoy taking kids on trips to local museums, parks, libraries for bedtime books, or to a pool on hot summer days. I'm comfortable making dinners, lunches, or light snacks for the kids as well as assist the family in any additional household chores.
