About Arthur

I'd describe my personality as outgoing, patient, and understanding. I am authoritative. I like tutoring because it allows me to help students. I love when they understand a subject. I'm looking for a job working long-term with a family. Frequent visits at first, pare down later. I started tutoring in the early 1990s. My first few students were Elementary Ed students in math and science. In my spare time I like to read, cook, play games, watch movies/TV, and spend time with my grown children. One thing you should know about me is I was stay at home parent for both my children. A teacher they shared said I should teach. My skills include patience, empathy, and positivity. First, I understand adolescent development. Next, I was a struggling student until diagnosed with ADHD at 21. Finally, I love positive reinforcement.
