About Arlet

Hello! My name is Arlet, and I am a student at Colorado State University, majoring in Human Development and Family Studies. Throughout my time at CSU, I have been able to learn about child development and family dynamics. I have several years of hands-on experience working and volunteering with children. I have babysat for several families, have been a mentor for elementary and middle schoolers, and worked as a teacher assistant at a Montessori preschool. Throughout this experiences, I have gained valuable skills in flexibility, tailoring learning/ activities to each child, hands-on-learning, creativity, and safety. Outside of school, I love spending time outdoors, reading, and traveling. I also value time with family and friends. I am confident I can assist with daily routines, ensuring safety, preparing meals, and planning fun and engaging activities for children. I have my own car and can be flexible with scheduling.
