Hi! My name is Aris, and I'm a native English speaker from Kansas City, now based in Olathe, KS. I've studied Spanish for the past four years at the University of Missouri - Columbia and in Barcelona, earning a Spanish minor and the Missouri Seal of Biliteracy in 2020. I've worked in Spain for the past two summers with the University of Alicante and tutored 4th-grade Spanish during college. I also led conversational English sessions for international grad students through Mizzou's Compañeros de Conversación program, focusing on cultural fluency and clear, neutral speech. Currently, I'm a substitute teacher in the Shawnee Mission School District. I'm available after 4:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday and mornings until 12 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. I'll be unavailable June 8-19 and will begin full-time travel July 15. I'd love to support your student's English or Spanish learning goals until then!
