About Ariel

Hello!! My name is Ariel, I'm 21 years old and I LOVE kids!! I am currently a toddler teacher at a childcare facility in Port St. John. People have always described me as very patient with young children and having the ability to interact with children well. My current experience in childcare comes through working at a childcare facility as well my church nursery, and caring for both my young niece and nephew. One of the skills I would like to include is monitoring the safety of the children in my care. My niece and nephew were both very active and required attentive monitoring. I helped with feeding and preparing snacks for both infants and toddlers, reading and playing to help introduce them to creative and entertaining activities. I learned to watch for signs of tiredness and to know when it was time for a nap or a rest time. I also monitored the children for signs of illness. I enjoy being creative and finding fun, new activities for children to engage in.
