She helped him set up appointments, went with him to all doctor's appointments, relaying pertinent info to the family, advocated for him to get the maximum amount of therapy his insurance would pay, relayed changing care plans with my family, and assisted in my filing and getting disability services. She also cooked, cleaned and drove when needed, helped him start back in the gym, led him thru strength-building physical therapy exercises and helped with home speech therapy homework.
