I grew up in a family with 11 siblings. Four of my siblings have severe special needs. Growing up in my family made me really want to care for people the way my parents have done for me and my siblings. I know what it's like to be going in and out of hospitals and the struggles that come from that. My parents had to take lots of courses to be able to care for my siblings and I took every opportunity to learn with them. Learning from my siblings alone, I've learned how to care for trachs and G-Tubes. Some of my siblings have severe brain damage, CP, down syndrome and kabuki syndrome. I've had a lot of experience and would love to learn more and get the chance to care for anyone who needs it. I'm interested in nursing school and want to get all the experience I can get working and caring for people who have different types of disabilities.
