My name is Arielle and I am a nationally certified Adapted Physical Education Teacher with a master's degree in Adapted Physical Activity, and a bachelor's degree in health and physical education. I recently left my job as an Adapted PE teacher in Fairfax County Public Schools. I left the school system because I want to have a bigger impact on individuals and give my time and attention to one client at a time, providing the best services possible. I have experience with students of varying abilities from grades K-12. I have also coached Special Olympics and have worked in Adapted Physical Activity programs with individuals teen through adulthood. In grad school I had the unique opportunity to live in a dorm with a young woman with Down Syndrome. I mentored her through navigating college life, school work, nutrition, social life, and life skills such as grocery shopping, and money management.

Arielle was a fantastic personal care assistant for me. I am a quadriplegic, and she helped me with all of my activities of daily living, including dressing, showering, exercising, meal prep, and eating. She was always on time and made sure that I was comfortable and safe throughout my day. She is a very quick learner, and I didn't have to teach her much about helping me because she has extensive experience working with individuals with physical disabilities.
