My 4+ years of experience working with children from babysitting to tutoring to working at UC Berkeley's Early Childhood Education program showed me how a babysitter/nanny has a special opportunity to do more than just watch over a child, but to be a mentor in their life, empowering them through teaching new skills. I still have clear recollections of my favorite babysitters from when I was a child, and love paying these experiences forward. I have lots of flexibility as I only recently graduated from UC Berkeley and moved out to Bishop to explore its beautiful backyard! Last summer I hiked the 2, 650 mile Pacific Crest Trail which inspired me to share my love of the outdoors by crafting and teaching an introduction to backpacking course to over 100 students centered on hands-on, engaging activities. I'd also love to help out around the house with tidying, grocery shopping, cooking, ect and look forward to supporting you and your family!

We felt so lucky to have found Ariane to watch our kids while we were at a wedding in Mammoth. She was a great communicator and was very flexible (extending the time last minute). She babysat a 26 month old and a 13 month old for us. They had a blast and weren't even excited when I came home. We would 100% hire her again and would recommend hiring her. Thank you, Ari!
