I grew up watching my three younger cousins and local families. The majority of my experience comes from a little girl I started watching when she was six, who is now 11. I started watching her as a summer babysitting job. Just before her seventh birthday, she was diagnosed with cancer that required a leg amputation and her to miss extended periods of school. I helped her with homework and transportation to appointments on top of her daily care. I have also spent many hours volunteering in the local elementary school where I live. I enjoy playing games, gardening, reading and working out in my free time and including my passions with the children I babysit.
