After earning my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and Exceptional Needs from Purdue University and my Master's Degree in Special Education from George Mason University, I worked as a special education teacher and now a kindergarten teacher in Fairfax County Public Schools. My favorite thing about working with all people is building a relationship with them based on their unique interests and needs. I enjoy creating a safe environment and being a part of the play and learning process of children. I plan activities, use materials available, and care for general needs including cooking, feeding, and potty training and bathroom use. I have worked with student using ABA, positive reinforcement systems, and AAC devices in the school setting. I have my own car and can provide transportation. I am comfortable around pets.
