As a four-year FFA member, I gained valuable experience caring for farm animals. My passion led me to a year-long internship as a veterinary technician, where I worked with dogs, cats, and small exotic pets, mastering essential skills in animal health. I also spent two years in a city-endorsed wildlife conservation program, learning to handle and care for animals in their natural habitats. Arabia has easily become a household name in my life. We asked her to watch our dog, Jinx, and keep him safe over the weekend while we went away. Jinx has always had high anxiety and struggles deeply with separation. When we told her this, she explained that she had experience with animals in distress and we could tell once we got back. Through her day to day updates on our pets, we saw him in a calm space where he was happy at home without our presence which is nearly impossible for a first time sitter. Nonetheless, we returned to our dog being as joyous as before and he doesn’t fear our absence as much. She is now our go-to sitter and Jinx will settle for no one else!
