About Apryl

Hi. My name is Apryl and I have been taking care of little ones since I was 9 years old. It started with my mom working full time and I was taught to take care of my two youngest sisters with cooking, homework, and making sure the house was clean when my mother got home. As much as I love my sisters at time I though my mother was being super hard on me, but now as an adult I thank her for the skills she instilled in me that I still use to this day by taking care of my nieces and nephews since birth and giving their parents a much needed break. I have also had the grand experience of teaching English to Burmese refugee children ages 4-12 while I lived in Thailand. We would spend the day learning, laughing and playing then close the day with dinner and start all over again in the morning. I feel very natural around kids and can multitask household errands even as they can be a hand full. I have an upbeat, fun personality and enjoy, cooking, music, family and friends. When children are around me I want them to know they are safe, they are listened to and they are loved.
