April has been an ideal support for our 92 yo mother. She not only does what we ask, she goes beyond job description to enrich our mother’s life- through conversation, sharing books, videos, TED talks that are of interest and reminiscent of our mother’s life. April also initiated doing her PT home exercises program alongside our mother to increase compliance and make it More fun. She encourages increased water intake, more eating and more frequent bathing in a respectful manner that does not impede our Mother’s sense of independence. April’s communication skills with her, as well as with us when even small needs arise provide us great comfort and confidence that our mother is in capable and caring hands. We are grateful she is in our lives.
