April was a godsend for us. My mom has dementia and needed someone to provide companionship and take her shopping. April dependably did that and more. She did the magical thing we are all really looking for here: spotting and anticipating my mom’s needs, taking care of those needs, then keeping me in the loop. She noticed when my mom wasn’t remembering to eat regularly, when she was trying to buy one thing over and over, etc. April is an absolute gem who extended my mom’s time in her own home.
