My enjoyment of, and compassion for working with members of our elder community began as a natural extension of the loving relationships I had with all of my grandparents. I truly come to care about the individuals I work with, and a true friendship evolves. An interesting fact is that I was chosen by the Care platform to participate in their social media campaign and tribute to elder care. That campaign depicts the loving relationship that developed between myself and my elder friend, Miss Nellie. If we choose to engage with one another, I can share the link to that media. The elders I have worked with AND their families would describe me as warm and amicable, patient and supportive, and truly attentive to their needs. April has been working with our family as a mother?s assistant for two years. She began working with us when our son was 12 and our daughter was 9. She is truly an asset to our family and we've been delighted to have her exceptional assistance. April maintains the highest standards for punctuality and attendance. She never disappoints and sticks to our agreed upon schedule but she is highly flexible and can make exceptions to the routine. She is quite capable of providing highly competent homework support. Whether it is language arts or math, she is highly knowledgeable and a great homework helper. Additionally, she lets parents know is a tactful and diplomatic way when she has concerns about our kids? safety, health, or behavior. Most importantly however is April?s wonderful attitude. April is genuinely interested in the well-being of everyone in our family. We highly recommend April. She is reliable, diligent, trustworthy, motivated, organized, and professional.
