About April

Hi! My name is April and it's nice to e-meet you here. I'm a good-natured, responsible childcare provider with a graduate degree and two years of hands-on experience caring for children of varied ages. I am looking for childcare work because time with kids is time well spent. I enjoy playing games and being active with the children in my care. I also love, love, love children's books and am a Storytime Volunteer at the Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House. I'm comfortable following parents' house rules and I pride myself on communicating with integrity. I like keeping spaces clean and organized, and I am able to complete "Girl Friday" tasks any day of the week. I speak English and German fluently. I am currently taking prerequisite courses for a Master's in Clinical Psychology, In my free time, I read novels, walk on the beach, and relax at home with my boyfriend and our drowsy torbie cat Mrs. Doyle.
