About April

Hello my name is April, and I have nannied for children newborn to school-aged. My duties included comprehensive newborn care which included, health monitoring, diapering, feeding, administering medication when needed, and following feeding and sleep schedules. I also implemented effective remedies that prevent/treat neck and diaper rashes. I assisted with daily school drop-offs/pick-ups. I planned and supervised engaging and age-appropriate activities that promoted learning and cognitive development. I also prepared delicious healthy meals on a daily basis. I was also an assistant teacher for St. John's Methodist School. I educated children on a weekly basis, in a classroom setting and taught educational skills and strategies through artwork, manipulatives, and book reading. I regularly created curriculum that introduced children to themes like, the solar system, the human body, nocturnal animals, seasons of the year, sight words, reading, mathematics, etc. I enjoy cleaning/organizing
