I am a CNA and a certified Qmap. I have worked at a memory care facility for 1 1/2yr. While working on a memory care unit I worked with Alzheimer's and Dementia patients as well as patients that had a stroke and TBI. I have also worked long term care, rehabilitation and skilled facilities. I am comfortable doing colostomy care and catheter care that is within my scope of practice as a CNA. I genuinely love what I do and enjoy being there for people that need care, compassion and empathy. I'd describe my personality as easy going, positive and dedicated. I like caring for seniors because it gives me an opportunity to be there for people that need a little extra care and to give back to a generation that seems to be forgotten about to a degree these days. I'm looking for a job that allows me to use my skills as a CNA. In my spare time, I like to create memories with my kids. And I enjoy anything that involves nature.
