About April

Hello, my name is April and I would be honored to have the opportunity to care for your furry family member! I have a lifetime of experience caring for animals and have been doing so professionally for over 20 years. I grew up riding and showing horses and started training horses professionally when I was in high school. I have also trained dogs and operated a small, independent dog rescue. I have been pet parent to large and small dogs, cats, horses, hamsters, mice, and a hermit crab. Additionally, I used to work at a zoo with over 120 species including birds, reptiles, amphibians, big cats, and more. I have dedicated my life to working with animals and I truly enjoy giving them my undivided attention and care. I am comfortable with all different pet personalities and will give your pet the individualized care they need. I have experience with pet first aid and can administer meds. I look forward to giving your pet the VIP experience!
