My caretaking history began with my elderly mother and father. My father passed away in 2017 due to side effects caused by Alzheimer's. Over a 12 year period, I had a very successful sales career. Now, I have chosen to spend my time away from corporate America for a while. I have assisted patients with brain injuries, diabetes, and moderate to severe alzheimer's. I worked with a quadriplegic patient for 4 years. My experience ranges from wound care, physical therapy, and meal/medicine preparation. Bathing, feedings, monitoring blood pressure, cognitive functions, grooming, showering, and shavings. Companionship is always of importance. I strive to make loved ones feel comfortable. April has been a terrific caregiver. She is the exception to rule for caring with determination and love. She is passionate and compassionate. She is dependable, reliable, and reaches out if there are any questions or concerns that come up, she doesn’t guess at what’s needed she asks!!
