Hi there! I'm Anya. I've had a love for childcare since I was little. My first job was babysitting for my math teacher's little boy, which inspired me to continue applying for jobs within the field. Over the years, I've held many titles, including Camp Counselor, Associate Toddler Teacher, Kindergarten Teacher, and Nanny. I've loved and learned something from every single position I've held. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Outdoor Education and found that the benefits of children spending time outdoors greatly improve their development. With that being said, as a nanny, I really focus on activities that encourage growth and development. I provide a warm, supportive, and caring environment where kids can feel safe and trusted. I believe in positive communication to help the child feel heard and understood. I love being silly, doing arts and crafts, baking, coming up with creative games, and of course, getting outside! Five billion stars, can I do that? Anya is all the buzz words you look for when you want someone to watch your kids and be all about meeting every desire you have for yourself and the kids. She has a Waldorf background, is honest, genuine, excellent high standards, flexible, family oriented, always puts the kids first, highly communicative and well whatever else you are looking for she’s got it (sadly I don’t have time to write all the words cause I don’t have her as a childcare provider anymore *quietly cries*). She watched our 7 and 3yr old for 2.5yrs and the whole family benefitted during that time. Then she moved and we’ve missed her ever since. If you could hire her and scare her back to Colorado I’d be forever grateful. She’s amazing. Hire her but only if you’re amazing too.
