About Anya

Hello! My name is Anya, I am a graduating Senior at the University of Richmond studying Biology. I grew up in New Mexico and had the privilege to look after many younger cousins (and sometimes my older brothers) which is how I first was introduced to childcare. I have a patient and calm demeanor, but love sports (soccer, swim, martial arts and lacrosse) and outdoor activities (hiking and rock climbing). I have been a sitter for over 6 years- in both high school and college and I have provided care for children between 2-14 years, as well as for a range of personality types and learning disabilities. I particularly enjoy creating new and interesting ways to make school work and outdoor play exciting for kids. Additionally, I abstain from social media and try to limit my own screen time, which is reflected in the activities I do as a sitter.
