About Anya

Hello! I am a mom to an active 4yo. I have been a SAHM, but now she's in school & lives with her dad part-time. I earned my BA in Education & Human Development from Brown University. I have experience w/ children in both clinical & non-clinical settings as a babysitter, preschool teacher, psychiatric intern, camp counselor & volunteer w/ children with learning disabilities, to name a few. I also have experience working w/ neurodivergent kids. My academic studies focused on 18-60 months, but I also love babies & teens. I am open to short placements & date nights, but would like to find a consistent placement. I started working w/ kids in high school & had my first paying job as a sleepaway camp counselor my first summer in college. My skills include being patient, creative & nurturing. I've been trained in singing & art (eg drawing, painting, photography). I speak decent Spanish as well. I also volunteered at a local cat rescue for a couple of years. I hope to hear from you soon!
