Hello! I currently work in a skilled nursing facility with the elder population for 10+ years. I am a Director of Rehabilitation and a licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant. I love working with this population because they are truly most precious to us. They have so many life experiences, amazing backgrounds, wisdom, and great stories! I feel that taking care of them is our way of thanking them for taking care of us. In my line of work, it is also very rewarding to see them thrive despite various medical conditions and disabilities. I also have a lot of experience with taking care of pets. I have owned 8 Himalayan cats, a Great Pyrenees, 2 Australian Shepherds, a parakeet, a Mitred Conure, and occasionally volunteer at a barn grooming horses.
