About Antonesia

Hello, my name is Antonesia. I am 30 years old and I am a RU alumni. Working with children has been my passion since I was a Sophomore in High school. Over the past 9 years, I've had the pleasure of working at several different childcare centers as both assistant teachers and lead teachers. These jobs were able to help me build my experience with the teaching/creative aspects of things. During the pandemic, I received an opportunity as a homeschool teacher for 4 students at the center that I was working at during that time. For that year and a half, I worked with an 8-month-old, 2-year-old and two 4-year-olds at the same time in a home setting. This opportunity was amazing and it made me realize how much I enjoy working up close and personal with one family. I also had another home school opportunity. I worked in with two boys, ages 3 and 5. I am currently Kindergarten-4th grade Social Studies teacher. I take pride in knowing how much of a difference I make in each family's lives.

Antonesia worked in my home taking care of my two boys (then 3 and 5 years old) from 2021-2022. She seamlessly became part of our family. Her energy is unmatched! She was punctual, dependable, and flexible throughout her time caring for my children. It was such a relief, every day, knowing I could leave my kids in her care and EVERYTHING was handled. I loved how she kept the kids engaged with age appropriate activities and crafts. She didn't even hesitate through our virtual learning/Covid experience! She's simply wonderful. As the kids say: 10/10 definitely recommend!
