An excellent and competent nurse assistant with 11+ years of experience in senior care, working in nursing homes and home care companies in the DC area. Within this 11 years I provide care for seniors with all kinds of conditions ranging from bed ridden to minimum assist. I assist client with activities of daily living(Bathing, feeding, grooming and Bathroom care), transferring from bed to wheel chair or vice versa I am proficient with the hoyer lift and helping client with range of motions(exercise). Currently mostly provide short hourly services between a 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. and 630 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Anthony would be good for someone who is bedridden or in a coma. We are an active, vibrant family and we needed help with many things. He only wanted to help with things that were directly related to my husband. If there were dishes in the sink, he would only was the items my husband used. If there were clothes to be washed, he only wanted to wash the specific items my husband used. He was very rigid in terms of doing things the way my husband wanted them done. Contrary. He would prefer to just sit and watch TV or play on his phone. He was not proactive at all. You had to keep asking him to do things rather than him jumping in and helping. The final nail on the coffin was when I asked him to throw some blankets in the wash and he asked my husband if the blankets were for him - specifically, as he was not here to do for anyone but him. At that point, he was let go.
