I like caring for seniors because 1) life is fascinating! And anyone who has lived a long one is fascinating to me and I have a lot of appreciation for that 2) I feel that the practice of honoring seniors in our society is lacking and there is gap that I would like to be a part of filling 3) I would hope that someone would do the same for me when I am older and 4) it just feels good to help out! I'm looking for a job that I can do part-time helping out with household and/or transportation needs. I started caring for my mom in 2014. This included helping her move, helping her with household chores and meals, driving her to appointments, keeping paperwork and finances organized. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and I also like to spend time outside biking, hiking, and I just started playing pickle ball. One thing you should know about me is I am dependable. You can depend on me to be honest, patient, to manage time well, and to be thoughtful and considerate.
