Hi there my name is Ann. Thank you for taking the time to read and consider my profile, I really appreciate it. I so enjoy assisting those with special needs, as it provides me the opportunity to use my God-given skills and abilities. I have served as a middle school handicapped student aide, within a special needs classroom. I assisted her with physical therapy both on a mat and in a stander, as she had cerebral palsy. I assisted her with basic classroom function, hence served as a second set of eyes and hands. I helped with basic hygiene and food selection and feeding. I helped bridge the gap between she and other students. I found this work deeply gratifying, as I could easily sense that I was making a positive difference, in this precious young life.
