About Ann

I live in the Watertown and am a mother of two grown girls (an Occupational Therapist and a recent Health Science Major). I am also an active aunt of many energetic nieces and nephews whom I love and care for very often. I am experienced in infant care, preschool and older children. I am very comfortable caring for more than one child at once as well. I love taking children to the parks, libraries and museums and am still very active despite my age! I have worked at Boston University's Genetic Department for many years and after my children finished college, I began working as a nanny/ in child care. I am CPR trained and have had many years of experience caring for others' children (and my own). I have a very reliable car and excellent driving record. I am also experienced in Personal/Senior and Disabled Care Assistance. I held many playgroups at my home and have experience keeping the children busy with arts and crafts, learning games and creative play and encourage sports. I am a naturally neat/organized person and have no problem helping out with household duties such as laundry, cooking, picking up, etc. I am also a dog lover and have a home with a huge yard right outside of Boston and am also looking for pet care opportunities (regular and occasional)- either at my home or if more comfortable, someone else's home. Each month for the past 3 years, I have watched a medium sized dog at my own home while the family traveled and absolutely loved it. I have had dogs my entire life and enjoy having a dog to care for, walk with me and am sure any family will be at ease with their dog in my care!
