About Annika

Hello my name is Annika and I am a born and raised Marin County native who is looking for a sweet family to support part time. I am in process with a Degree in Psychology and currently working as a Kindergardten teacher at a Waldorf School, but would love some supplemental work after school or on the weekends. I have been CPR certified and a Waldorf early childhood teaching accreditation. I am also a certified yoga teacher. Beyond my current job as a teacher of children 4-6, I have worked for a number of years at childcare for a support group where I was the primary sitter. I would oversee up to 13 kids at a time, from babies to tweens. I am comfortable with a variety of different ages and personalities. I believe in a mindful and gentle approach with children where their voice and unique needs are listened to and valued first and foremost. I can provide a space where they can be themselves and have fun while remaining safe and grounded.
