About Annika

Hi! My name is Annika, and I have a passion for working with kids. After graduating from college in 2020, I moved to the east coast to get my a dual masters in Special education & Elementary education from Hopkins (go blue jays!!) I am currently in my fourth year of teaching, and work as a special education inclusion teacher with students age 3-7. I am primarily looking for a summer job; however, would be open to continuing full time if the fit is right! I'd describe my personality as fun, easy going and nurturing. I like working with kids because I believe we can learn SO much from them. I think my years working with kids have made me a better, more relaxed person as more often than not, kids look at the bright side of things. In my spare time, I like to read a good thriller book, catch up with friends, and go for runs or to solid core for pilates!
