About Annie

For five years, I was a certified US Sailing instructor, leading a class for ages 8-12. I also have experience working one-on-one with kids starting at age 4 through private lessons. I volunteer at an after-school program in Worcester, MA, helping 6-7-year-olds with their homework. I'd describe my personality as compassionate, organized, and positive. I'm looking for a job that involves both child care and tutoring, as I have experience with both. I started tutoring when volunteering at an after-school program last year. My experience with instructing kids also ties into tutoring, as I have lots of experience with keeping kids engaged. My hobbies include reading, listening to music, and exercising. I am a Junior at College of the Holy Cross, majoring in Environmental Studies and Political Science. I want an opportunity to tutor or nanny before I head off to study abroad in Australia! My skills include creating engaging lesson plans and ensuring that kids are interested to learn.
