About Anne

My only experience in caring for a senior is the time that I was able to be with my father during his last several years. He and my mom would come to their summer home in Ocean Park, Maine every summer. In 2005 my father fell while walking his dog and broke his neck. He had no nerve damage, but this of course, was the beginning of great health care struggles and concerns. While they were in Ocean Park for the summer I did have a lot of opportunities to help him with his physical therapy exercises, preparing some meals, driving him to various places, and certainly the enjoyment of just sitting with him or generally helping out. Being around seniors that I can help is something that I have always enjoyed and have felt comfortable with.
