I am a former early childhood teacher with a background in Special Education and Early Childhood. Although I was a general education teacher, I worked hand in hand with special education teachers to write IEPs and to implement a variety of therapies in my classroom. Most of my experience is with behavior modification, although I learned a variety of therapies while in college. In 2016, I was a part-time nanny for a family with a child with Autism (non-verbal) and although I mostly cared for the younger child (typically developing), I would oftentimes babysit both children on date nights and was in charge of feeding, bath time, and bed time while the parents were out. Although I have a lot of experience and expertise, I am wanting to work with a family who sees us as a team.
