. I've spent 15 years in the classroom and over 10 years tutoring children . I received my master's degree as a reading specialist and then became a dyslexia teacher. I have realized that I could make the biggest impact for children by starting CLS. Confidence is crucial for a child to enjoy learning, and I make sure that each child knows that they are capable and bright. My approach with each session is to consider the whole child - not just reading or mathematics, but also accountability, personal responsibility, and executive functioning. Every child deserves the opportunity to thrive and feel successful in all aspects of their learning. It's like the martial arts of education - mind, body, and spirit! I'd describe my personality as loving, honest, loyal. I like working with kids because I love teaching them how to read.
