About Anneliese

Hi! I'm happy you've stumbled across my portfolio! My name is Anneliese, but kiddos call me Annie (far easier to remember). I am currently located in the Houston Texas area. I have been in childcare for seven years and had a passion for children my whole life. I have experience ranging from from special needs care, Montessori instruction, to gymnastics and dance instruction. I believe in caring for the whole child and making every conversation, or adventure a learning experience where they walk away feeling encouraged and smiling! I like to use every opportunity on teaching children to problem solve and overcome challenges independently, within the capabilities, so they gain a sense of pride. I love Disney movies, my favorites being Inside Out and Frozen 2, and I have a passion for fine arts and encouraging personal expression through the arts with each child I care for.
