Hi - I'm Anne Kristen and I've been helping care for people since I was a teenager. I've worked with those who have special needs- first on a voluntary basis then later on a paid basis. I have worked with those who are physically handicapped -In fact for almost a year, I was in a wheel chair, so I do understand some of the challenges that entails (I'm no longer in a wheelchair). I've also worked with those who are on the "spectrum", as well as some with other special needs. If there is something I don't know, I'm a quick study and always willing to learn.
