About Anne

Hi! I'm a married woman in my 50's. I've always loved children and started working with them as a babysitter and preschool assistant teacher while in high school. My college degree is a Bachelor of Social Work. I'm especially comfortable with infant through early elementary age and enjoy providing for their basic needs, reading to them, playing with them, and taking them on walks or to the park. I've home-educated my own eight children K-12 over the past 23 years. Most recently I held a one year position caring for three children (good reference available). From 2010 to 2020 I volunteered one day a week as a teacher in a Montessori-method preschool program. I love the outdoors and staying active. I have a good sense of humor and am patient and calm with children. Light housework and meal prep welcome. I'm comfortable caring for a sick child, and transporting children as needed. CPR/First Aid and Trustline certified. I look forward to meeting you!
