About Anna

Hello, I am finishing a Masters in Counseling degree and am looking for a job working with babies/and or young children that is compatible with my parenting and internship schedule. Most of my care experience comes from parenting my own daughters, who are now 9 and 12 years old. I have education in child development and am well-prepared to provide age-appropriate, supportive care. I chose this path until I am able to work solely as a clinician because I absolutely love babies and children in this age range and I have a lot of energy to devote to their care. As a care provider I want to bring children a sense of safety, support and joy. My work as a trauma and couple's therapist focuses on attachment theory and what children *didn't* get in childhood. In contrast, this work generates hope for children who are going to grow up into healthy and happy adults. I also like being silly, singing, and playing like a kid!
