My journey into animal caregiving started from an early age in Poland as a proud owner of a 70-pound Chow Chow. Despite the challenges posed by my dog's independent nature, my commitment to daily socialization training yielded success. Upon relocating to the States in 2004, my passion for animals led me to volunteer at a local animal shelter. This experience exposed me to a diverse range of animals and their unique needs. My heart, however, was captured by feline companions ultimately leading to adoption. I also faced new challenges with two of them being diagnosed with Cerebellar Hypoplasia and kidney disease. This marked a turning point in my caregiving journey, demanding a higher level of attention and medical care. The shift from routine grooming tasks to the administration of medication illustrates my willingness to go above and beyond in ensuring the health and happiness of animal companions. One more remarkable experience was my involvement in a home birth of a 9-pup litter.
