About Anna

For the last four years I have volunteered and interned at the childcare (a women and children's renewal center). Through I have worked with kids from ages 2 weeks to 12 years, many who have experience adversity, trauma, and learning difficulties. I have been trained to handle a variety of challenging situations and how to nurture children while helping them grow. My duties also included implementing play therapy techniques. Additionally, I've worked in the childcare at Faith Lutheran Church in Meadow Vista. I prepared snacks, set up fun activities, and entertained kids of many ages! I've been a babysitter for almost 5 years and have a genuine love for all the children and families I've worked with. I believe in promoting self-efficacy in children and that childcare should be more than just watching the kid. I consciously promote socio-emotional and personal development in any game or activity.
