About Anna

As the second oldest of seven siblings, I have grown up around kids. Additionally, the community that I have grown up in is full of large families, so I have had an up-close view to kids' development and lives: their challenges and triumphs alike. Being immersed in this family-oriented culture has helped me see the value of having fun with children! I have also worked with them in many different settings including counseling for youth camps, coaching recreational soccer teams, volunteering to help with VBS programs, and babysitting. This past summer greatly developed my understand of children as I worked at a summer learning program, mainly interacting with first and second graders. While I love seeing kids enjoy themselves, I also understand the importance of routine and respect. I am willing to put in the hard work to help families however I can and form connections with kids!
