About Anna

Since the summer of 2009, I have worked for a children summer camp as well as a full time daycare where I gained both experience in supervising and encouraging the creativity shown throughout the everyday lives of children. In addition to working for this company, I graduated from Towson University in 2018 with a bachelor degree in Elementary Education maintaining a GPA of 3. 8. In this program, I have held multiple internships at various elementary schools and grade levels. I completed a grade 1 long-term subbing position in the MCPS system. In 2018-19, I taught English as a foreign language for 9 months in South Korea. Since 2019, I have held a 2nd grade teaching position within MCPS. I won teacher of the year my first year in 2020. In addition I have babysat periodically throughout the years, always ending in a positive experience for all parties. I have gained a significant amount of experience in creating relationship while continuing to maintain a friendly, and safe environment.
