My name is Anna and I am a 22-year-old graduate student at NYU. I graduated from the University of Maryland in 2023 with a Bachelor's degree in Hearing and Speech Sciences, and a minor in Disability Studies. I have a tremendous amount of experience working with kids as it is something that I began when I was 15 years old. I hope to continue to work with children in my future career. I have nannied for several families both in NJ and MD and worked at a daycare for years. I worked at the LAB School of Washington, a school for children with language-based learning disabilities. I have worked with children ranging from 3 months old to 12 years old and have many references! My patience is one of my strong suits, and I'm well-equipped to handle challenging situations with children. I'm very responsible and committed to providing a safe and reliable environment or your children as well as making sure they are having fun!!

Anna is incredible and a rare gem: she is honest, trustworthy, hardworking, fun, warm, kind, flexible, and truly loves children. We met Anna through care.com while she was in college and I feel so fortunate to have had her for the first year of our daughter's life. I remember being very nervous to leave my infant, baby V, alone with anyone, but when I saw Anna's willingness to allow our daughter to contact nap on her and comfort her during bouts of crying without a second thought, I could easily see that she is someone who truly has a gift with young children. I could sing Anna's praises all day: she nurtured baby V's curiosity, allowing her to constantly tug at her jewelry and touch her face and never got annoyed, she would play fun music to make eating meals an enjoyable and positive experience, she would clap and encourage baby V whenever attempting to learn a new skill, and she would always make sure baby V was happily fed and had plenty of warm milk. Baby V formed a strong bond with Anna, which was obvious from her greeting Anna aka "Nan-Nan" with a big smile and squeals everyday. Something I want to highlight about Anna is she is an excellent communicator and does not hesitate to reach out if she has any concerns. This helped me build a strong rapport of trust with her. For example, one time baby V was making a breathing noise that I didn't notice, but Anna brought it up to me and I promptly took her to the Doctor. Another time baby V threw up and although Anna took care of it, she made sure to let me know immediately via text. Anna would be with our family today had she not moved away for grad school, but she is a highly motivated, intelligent woman and we can't wait to see her graduate and have greater impact with children beyond our little one. We hope to have her join us on future family vacations if she's not too busy with school -- we love and miss her!
