Good Afternoon, my name is Anna V. I am a graduate from James Madison University and I am interested in your position for a special needs provider! I am an SLPA (Speech-language pathologist assistant) wherein I completed my Bachelor's in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I have a 1. 5 years of professional experience working with special needs clients (ranging from infants to adults) and working with other professionals such as music therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, etc. I recently moved from Arizona (where I was practicing speech therapy) to Virginia and currently waiting for my license to transfer over to Maryland- which will take a couple months. I also have experience in the related fields of caretaker and educator. I have babysat countless families from HS until now. I was a Learning Center Tutor and teacher for 6+ years as well as private tutor for children who needed more assistance (kids with ADHD, learning disabilities, delays, etc).
