About Anna

I am currently enrolled in a second degree Nursing program. I have worked with children in varying positions for over the past 10 years. After completing my first degree at East Carolina University I worked with the US Peace Corps in Africa as a global health agent. The intense hands on experience of administering immunizations, suturing head wounds, and even delivering babies led me to pursue a career in Pediatric Nursing. Most recently I was the primary care giver for two girls (18 mo and 3 mo) with chronic medical needs (respiratory and musculoskeletal). During this time I also babysat two boys (6 yrs and 9 yrs old) we focused on HW and after school activities. Over the summer (2015) I was a full time nanny for 2 boys (1 yr and 6 yrs old). I cared for each family differently depending on their ages and needs, but for each child I facilitated a compassionate and safe environment for educational growth and development while supporting creativity and imagination.
