I decided to take this year off from classroom teaching, as I am currently expecting a daughter of my own who will be born late December/early January. I'm seeking a family who supports my unique situation. I have 10+ years of experience working with babies, youth, and adolescents. Starting in high school in college, I instructed swimming lessons and coached soccer, which led me to studying ECE and years later receiving a Masters in Teaching from Seattle University. My career has taken me to many places/ages (mainly teaching Elementary and working in Early Childhood). I can provide a resume and certifications detailing experiences. I can care for children 3 months up to age 12. I can help with transport, light meals, homework (of course.. my favorite! :), any expected routines, and enriching activities that are developmentally appropriate. I have a dog of my own, have previously worked for Rover pet-sitting, and am very comfortable with animal care.
