My mom will be 70 and my dad will be 79 this year. I care for them regularly and understand the importance of some independence with certain things. I also understand that dignity should be applied to all aspects of their care. The elderly should never be made to feel bad for something they can't do or remember. I love being around the elderly, I learn so much from them and enjoy their stories. I'm happy to be a great friend to your loved one!
