About Anna

I have been taking care of children at a variety of ages for about 12 years. I have cared for many families with children ranging from newborn to about 12 years old, as well as cared for children and young adults with special needs. I have experience with care in cerebral palsy and Down Syndrome. I am CPR and first aid certified. I have a Bachelors degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Appalachian State University. A typical day with me would include lots of playtime in or outside, snacks, a musical or craft activity, a nap, and little technology use. I really value creativity and will foster a spirit of creativity and fun in my time with your children. I will make sure to maintain a tidy environment and am willing to do small household tasks. I love kids of all ages but I especially enjoy working with children from 18 months to 5 years.
